Wednesday nights have become Party Night at my house. Typically, several dozen pals all gather to listen to a compact half-hour-or-so of music and blather - supplied by me, mostly. The coolest feature of all is that these pals all visit The Basement Lair never having left their homes. They convene online from wherever they are, via StageIt. Here's a mostly-blather sample from the first show, six weeks ago.
I've been giving fingerstyle guitar lessons for years and years and I still find that hugely satisfying. When I'm home I'll be teaching out of my place in Marin County, CA, also via Skype and at Gryphon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto. When I'm out on the road I'm available for private lessons and workshops as well.
