Well, Stevie is just as pleased as punch to have been invited to sub in for the inimitable Robbie Gjersoe on several shows with Jimmie Dale Gilmore and The Wronglers, who are headed up by St. Warren Hellman, the gentleman who singlehandedly funds the mighty Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival every October in San Francisco. Stevie will be playing acoustic and Weissenborn slide guitar with them at the end of August in the Pacific Northwest (dates TBA) but the first batch of shows will be at the High Mountain Hay Fever festival July 7-10 in highly mountainous Westcliffe, CO.
