 The briefest note to let you know that London-based fingerstyle guitar legend Duck Baker will be performing live and in person at my house in Larkspur next Friday night December 4 at 8:00 PM. Still a young man himself, geologically speaking, Duck has influenced an entire generation of pickers, my own self included. And he'll be here, ladies and gentlemen, all alive, all on the inside.Doors open at 7:00 PM, and music will start around 8:00. Please feel free to bring a little dessert or snack of some kind, as well as whatever you would like to drink. This will be a pass-the-hat affair, with a "suggested donation" of $15-$20 per person. All proceeds will go to the artist. But regardless of the level at which you feel comfortable contributing to the cause, please don't miss this opportunity to see a truly world-class performer in an extremely intimate and freshly-vacuumed setting.
